Overview
Understanding Mood Disorders
Mood disorders are conditions that primarily affect emotional state. They include different forms of depression and bipolar-related conditions, among others.
Mood can also be affected by health conditions, medications, stress, sleep and life events. A thoughtful evaluation helps identify what may be contributing and which options may help.
